Having cellulite is icky. Not being able to get rid of it is even ickier! Most women (and some men) have problems with cellulite on their bellies, under the arms, but mostly in the back on their bums and back of the thighs. Losing this feature is not easy. But despite what you've heard, you do have the ability to get rid of it....or most of it anyway without surgery.
Cellulite is a condition that claims to occur in most women. There appears to be a hormonal component to its presentation since it's rarely seen in men. Major causes of cellulite are poor circulation, collagen breakdown, alterations of connective tissues (gaining and losing weight, pregnancy, ect.), high-stress lifestyles and genetics. We can't change our gene code, but we can take care of the some of the other factors to fight against our body's reactions that develop cellulite. Here are a few steps to take to prevent and reduce your dimply features:
Exercise
Yeah, we all know we should exercise. Staying active helps improves our overall well being. It will strenthen our immune system, burn calories and improve circulation. But if you have cellulite in certain areas, focus on those areas to improve muscle tone. You can't turn muscle into fat, but muscle burns fat, increasing calorie burn and weighloss as well as gets those jelly-like areas toned. So yes, some good old-fashioned excercise will help rid cellulite. Pilates and yoga are a great workouts for toning. For the backs of thighs, try squats and lunges. And for toning the back of the arms, try backward pushups buy using a chair behind you.
Stress Less
Cellulite can be traced to women with high-stress lifestyles. Like most of us, stress seems to consume us these days. With work, kids and house work, who could live a stress-free life? Most housewives need a housewife. I think we can all agree to that. But we must stay organized, find our center and do what's most important. Spending time with family and friends are key to keeping sane. Spending time alone with a cup of tea or coffee and a hot, relaxing bath will also enhance your senses and calm your inner diva. A really great tea that we love and will help you relax is from Yogi Teas called "Kava Stress Relief (only drink just before bedtime.) Paint your nails or do a new hairstyle. All these things will improve your confidence and relax your mind. Although a chore to some, many women find that cooking actually enhances happiness. Happiness comes from endorphins, which are the "good mood" chemical produced in the brain when doing something fun or relaxing. Yoga and belly dancing have been proven in many research studies to promote the production of endorphins.
Collagen Production
Because of age, pregnancy and genetics, collagen can be broken down. In most females, collagen production ceases at around age 13 year old. Repairing collagen is not easily acheiveable. Finding a great product to renew it is even more difficult. A few products that are excellent on our list are Nivea Goodbye Cellulite Gel-Cream, The Derma Roller (Coming soon to divabuy.com) and a product that we carry, Lajiao Hot Melty Cellulite/Stretchmark Cream. These products have proven to improve the production of collagen and getting rid of cellulite. Take it from us, we've tried all the products on the market at our own expense with no improvement with the exception of these products. When using any of the three mentioned products, you'll see an improvement in cellulite reduction and skin smoothness in just a matter of weeks. The reason we carry the Lajiao Cream is because we have saw almost immediate results in only 3 days and its great for stretch marks as well.
By taking these things into consideration and putting them into action, you'll notice a real improvement in your body, mind and soul. Excercise, stress less and use a great product to prevent that rumply, frumpiness to boost your confidence, self awareness and overall appearance.
